IFS officer Biswajit Banerjee, currently posted as the Joint Secretary in the Department of Rural Development, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (30.08.2022), the competent authority has approved the premature repatriation of Mr. Banerjee to his parent cadre to avail the benefit of promotion.
