Haryana IAS Officers Association Hosts New Year Luncheon

The Haryana IAS Officers Association organized a special luncheon at Haryana Niwas on Saturday to mark the New Year. The event was graced by Governor Mr. Bandaru Dattatraya and Chief Minister Mr. Nayab Singh Saini as special guests. Cabinet Ministers Mr. Shyam Singh Rana and Mr. Ranbir Gangwa were also in attendance. The Association’s President and Chief Secretary, Dr. Vivek Joshi (1989-batch IAS officer), along with Secretary Dr. Amit Agrawal (2003-batch IAS officer), extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries.

Governor Mr. Bandaru Dattatraya highlighted the inclusion of millet-based dishes in the lunch, emphasizing their historical significance and health benefits. He commended the state government’s ongoing efforts to promote millet cultivation and products, which benefit both health and the environment.

Chief Minister Mr. Nayab Singh Saini extended New Year wishes to the association and encouraged officers to work with renewed determination to ensure the effective implementation of government schemes. He lauded millet-based dishes for their role in enhancing farmers’ incomes and promoting sustainable agriculture.

Dr. Vivek Joshi, President of the Haryana IAS Officers Association, expressed gratitude to the Governor and Chief Minister, noting the association’s commitment to enhancing administrative efficiency through regular seminars, training programs, and events like this luncheon.

Prominent attendees included Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Rajesh Khullar (1988-batch IAS officer), Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Arun Kumar Gupta (1992-batch IAS officer), and Director General of the Information, Public Relations, Languages, and Culture Department Mr. K. Makrand Pandurang (2007-batch IAS officer), alongside members of the association.
