1988-batch IAS officer of Maharashtra cadre, Apurva Chandra has been given additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). Presently, he is Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Competent Authority has approved the assignment of additional charge of the post to Chandra from 02.04.2022 to 18.04.2022 during the period of absence on leave of 1988 batch IAS officer of Gujarat cadre, Bidyut Bihari Swain.
