IAS officer Jatindra Nath Swain currently posted as the Secretary, Department of Fisheries, has been given additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying as the incumbent Atul Chaturvedi is set to retire on July 31, 2022. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the competent authority has approved the proposal to assign the additional charge of the post to Swain till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
