IAS Shrikesh B Lathkar Re-designated as Director in Ministry of Civil Aviation

In a recent development, Shrikesh B Lathkar (IAS: 2011: AP), who is currently serving as the Private Secretary to the Minister for Civil Aviation, Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, has been re-designated as Director in the Ministry of Civil Aviation. The announcement was made through an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday, February 27, 2025.

According to the order, the competent authority has approved the re-designation of Mr. Lathkar’s position to Director level, effective from the date he assumes charge of the re-designated post. This appointment will remain in effect until December 3, 2029, or until the end of his tenure as Private Secretary to the Minister, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

It is significant to note that Shrikesh B Lathkar commenced his central deputation on December 4, 2024, and has now been elevated within the Ministry as part of the ongoing administrative reshuffles.
