Dr. Arunvir Singh (1987-batch retired IAS officer), the incumbent Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Yamuna Authority, has taken an extended leave due to personal reasons. In his absence, Additional Chief Executive Officer (ACEO) Shruti has been entrusted with the role of Acting CEO to ensure the smooth progress of key projects and administrative functions.
Officer Shruti, a 2011-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, brings extensive experience to her new responsibilities. She has previously served as District Magistrate in Balrampur and Fatehpur districts and has been actively involved in administrative operations as an ACEO in the Noida Authority.
Under Ms. Shruti’s interim leadership, critical projects such as the Noida International Airport, the world’s largest film city, and the ongoing industrial park development are expected to continue at the same pace. A Yamuna Authority official assured that the transition would not affect the progress of these initiatives. “Shruti is committed to completing these high-profile projects within stipulated timelines, maintaining the momentum achieved under Dr. Singh’s leadership,” the official added.
The temporary leadership change reflects the authority’s focus on ensuring uninterrupted progress on infrastructure and development goals.
