Following a directive released on March 2nd by the government of Jharkhand, and merely a month ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, as many as seven IAS officers got transferred across the state. In a significant move, the incumbent Principal Secretary in the Department of Forest and Climate Change, Ms. Vandana Dadel (1996 batch IAS), was given the additional charge of the vigilance and mantree mandaliya. Ms. Dadel had earlier served as the home secretary of Jharkhand.
