In a minor reshuffle made by the Kerala Government, five IAS Officers were given new postings. The names of these officers are –
- Additional Chief Secretary Sarada Muraleedharan received a new posting and has been transferred from the local self-government (LSG) department and given the charge of planning and economic affairs department. In addition, she will be in charge of the LSG department’s waste management programs and projects, the Kerala State Planning Board’s member secretary, and the program implementation, assessment, and monitoring departments.
- Puneet Kumar, the current Additional Chief Secretary of the department of planning and economic affairs, has been named the ACS (personnel and administrative reforms department).
- Meghasree D. R., the current IG (registrations), has been appointed as director of the scheduled tribes development department.
- Muhammad Y. Safirulla, the officer on special duty (financial resources), has been named as special secretary (LSG).
- Rahul Krishna Sharma will take over for Arjun Pandian, who was moved to be the housing commissioner and assigned as a staff officer to the chief secretary.
