The Punjab Government has recently ordered the transfer of six senior IAS officers. The official order states that IAS officer Mr. Pradeep Kumar Agrawal has been transferred and posted as Director General of School Education. Whereas Mr. Praveen Kumar Thind has been retained as Labor Commissioner Punjab, he will also hold the Additional Charge of Controller Printing and Stationery. While Mr. B Srinivasan has been given the responsibility of Director Social Security, Women and Child Development, in addition, he will also hold the charge of Special Secretary Social Security, Women and Child Development.
IAS officer Mr. Girish Dayalan has been transferred and posted as Director, Governance Reform and Public Grievances. While Mr. Sagar Setia has been posted as Additional Excise and Taxation Commissioner, Patiala.
Besides this, the Punjab Government has also replaced the Managing Director of PRTC (Pepsu Roadways Transport Corporation) Patiala. The Government has appointed IAS officer Mr. Amit Talwar as the new Managing Director of PRTC. Whereas Mr. Pinderpal Singh has been posted as Special Secretary, Water Supply and Sanitation. He will also hold the Additional Charge of HOD of the Water Supply and Sanitation Department.
