- Floods of Cuddalore
Three IAS officers have been deputed to Cuddalore district to assist the district administration and coordinate relief operations in the rain-affected areas by the state government of Tamil Nadu.
IAS officers V. Amuthavalli, T.P. Rajesh and Vishu Mahajan have been deputed to the areas by Mr. Gagandeep Singh Bedi, the Principal Secretary to Tamil Nadu Government who is supervising the relief operations in Cuddalore.
The officials will look after the rescue and relief operations by camping in flood-affected areas in Cuddalore, Chidambaram, Panruti, and Virudhachalam.
