In a shocking incident two youngsters defrauded two elderly women from Chomu and got their old-age pension transferred in their own accounts in district Dausa Rajasthan. A newly-appointed IAS Abhishek Surana however, appeared on the scene as saviour, getting the fraudsters arrested
The victims complained about but the action taken was none. However, the newly appointed SDM Abhishek Surana didn’t disappoint them. The local people says that he is very strict about the irregularity in government schemes. So, after knowing about the incident he ordered an investigation.
After the primary investigation, it was found that Bhoori Devi and Bhagwati Devi were not getting their pension from the May, 2018. When the team contacted the postal department, they got to know that pension was deposited through a bank account while both the victims didn’t have one. SDM also cross checked the information given by the women and other documents with the information available on SSP portal. After which the SDM took the help of police.
The police didn’t just revived the total amount of 28 thousand from those fraud but also arrested them. Mr. Abhishek also made sure that the correct information about the victims are uploaded on the SSP portal. The money revived from those fraud were also transferred in their accounts respectively.
