Senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, Dr. Raghav Langer, originally from Jammu & Kashmir, has been promoted to the Super Time Scale (Secretary grade) in Uttarakhand.
A 2009-batch IAS officer, Dr. Langer is among seven officers elevated to this rank. Currently, he serves as Director in the Department of Water Resources, River Development, and Ganga Rejuvenation under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India.
During his inter-cadre deputation to J&K, Dr. Langer held several key positions, including Divisional Commissioner of Jammu, Secretary of Planning, and Deputy Commissioner of both Kathua and Pulwama districts.
