Another IAS officer in the Uttar Pradesh sent his resignation letter to the appointment department. 2005 batch IAS officer G. Srinivasulu has sent his resignation to the appointments department. He is posted as Special Secretary. Recently he was transferred from the Finance Department to the Revenue Department.
He is the fifth IAS officer to seek voluntary retirement (VRS) or resign this year. At the same time, IAS Juthika Patankar and Renuka Kumar will be given voluntary retirement as soon as the NOC comes from the Centre. NOC has been received in both the cases from all the concerned departments of the state.
IAS Srinivasulu’s term is left till July 2030. He cited health issues as the reason for his resignation.
