IAS officer Kailash Chandra Gupta who is currently the Additional Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH), GOI will return to his parent cadre. He has been prematurely repatriated on the request of Madhya Pradesh government. Mr. Gupta is a 1992 batch officer of MP cadre. According to an order issued on Wednesday by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the central government has approved premature repatriation with imposition of extended cooling off.
