IAS officer Killu Sivakumar Naidu has been repatriated to his parent cadre of Telangana. He is from the 2011 batch and was posted as Deputy Secretary in the Union Ministry of Heavy Industries as part of his central deputation. He was posted there last year under central staffing scheme for a period of four years. However, he has been given premature repatriation to his parent cadre.
The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued an order on Saturday, August 12, 2023, to formalize this decision. This action has been taken on administrative grounds and is subject to an extended cooling-off period as specified in the conditions.
