Laxminarayan Mishra, a 2012-batch IAS officer of the Maharashtra cadre, who is currently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, the competent authority has approved the proposal of the ministry to repatriate Mr. Mishra on personal grounds, with the provision of extended cooling-off. He has previously served as Private Secretary to the Minister for Education in the Ministry of Education at the level of Deputy Secretary.
