New Delhi: The Central Government has appointed Ravi Dhawan, a 2011-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the AGMUT cadre, as Director in the Ministry of Power, Government of India. The appointment was confirmed through an official order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on August 8, 2025.
Dhawan has been appointed under the Central Staffing Scheme for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He has been instructed to immediately relinquish his current responsibilities to assume the new assignment at the Centre.
