New Delhi: IAS officer Shelesh Nawal (IAS:2010:MH), currently serving as Deputy Director at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), has been re-designated as Deputy Director (Senior) at the Director level.
The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued the official order on Monday, approving the elevation with effect from the date he assumes charge of the upgraded post. His tenure will continue until September 27, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Central Deputation & Career Milestone
Shelesh Nawal has been on central deputation since September 28, 2021, and his re-designation follows the standard career progression norms for IAS officers after completing 14 years of service.
This move aligns with the routine elevation process for IAS officers who qualify for senior roles based on tenure, experience, and central deputation guidelines.
