IAS officer Shankar Lal Kumawat (2010 batch, Tamil Nadu cadre) has been appointed as Director in the Department of Revenue, Delhi, for a tenure of five years. As per an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (February 17, 2025), the appointment has been approved under the central staffing scheme.

His tenure will begin from the date he assumes charge and will continue for five years or until further orders, whichever comes first.
