Shiv Malviya, an IAS officer of 2023 batch from Assam-Meghalaya cadre, has been transferred to the Odisha cadre following his marriage to Ms. Kasturi Panda, also an IAS officer of 2023 batch Odisha cadre.
The transfer, granted on personal grounds, allows Malviya to join his spouse in the Odisha cadre. The move underscores the government’s policy of accommodating personal circumstances of officers while maintaining administrative efficiency.
Shiv Malviya, who was previously serving with the Assam-Meghalaya cadre, will now continue his service in Odisha, contributing to the state’s governance and development initiatives.
