Paderu, ASR District: Tirumani Sri Pooja, an IAS officer of the 2022 batch, has assumed charge as the Project Officer of the Paderu Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) in ASR district. She began her tenure with a visit to the Sri Modakondamma temple and later paid a courtesy call on ASR District Collector A.S. Dinesh Kumar.
Background and Credentials
Sri Pooja hails from Dongapindi village in Bhimavaram mandal, West Godavari district. She completed her B.Tech in Karnataka and secured the 62nd rank in the UPSC Civil Services Examination in her second attempt. Prior to this appointment, she served in administrative roles, showcasing her leadership and governance capabilities.
Focus on Tribal Development
Expressing her happiness at being posted in a tribal area, Ms. Sri Pooja said she aims to promote socio-economic development in the region. She emphasized ensuring that welfare schemes from both the Central and State governments effectively reach the tribal communities.

The new Project Officer was warmly received by ITDA Assistant PO M. Venkateswara Rao, AO Hemalatha, DRDA Project Officer Murali, and other ITDA officers and staff, marking the beginning of her tenure in the agency.

As Project Officer, Sri Pooja is expected to focus on improving infrastructure, healthcare, education, and livelihood opportunities for tribal populations in the Paderu region, strengthening governance and inclusive development in ASR district.
