Senior diplomat Mr. Birender Singh Yadav, a 1997-batch Indian Foreign Service officer, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced on December 18th, 2024.
In its statement, the MEA said, “Shri Birender Singh Yadav (IFS: 1997) has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Kyrgyz Republic.” The statement further noted, “He is expected to take up the assignment shortly.”
Officer Yadav brings extensive diplomatic experience to his new role, continuing India’s efforts to strengthen bilateral relations with the Kyrgyz Republic.
