In a recent development, the central government has approved the premature repatriation of IFS officer Jitender Ahlawat to his parent cadre of Haryana. Mr. Ahlawat, who was serving as the Deputy Secretary in the Department of Consumer Affairs, has been called back on personnel grounds, as per an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training on Friday (26.04.2024). He is a 2010-batch Indian Forest Service officer from Haryana cadre.
The competent authority has granted approval to the proposal put forth by the Department of Consumer Affairs to repatriate Ahlawat to his home cadre ahead of the scheduled completion of his central deputation tenure.
