Mr. Samuel Vanlalngheta Pachuau, a 2013-batch Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer from the Kerala cadre, has been appointed as the Deputy Secretary in the National Health Authority (NHA) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (22.11.2024), the central government has appointed Mr. Pachuau to the post for four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
This prestigious appointment reflects his exemplary service and expertise, which he will now bring to the NHA in contributing to the government’s efforts in healthcare administration and reform.
