As per two separate notifications issued by the Department of Personnel and Training on June 28th and July 1st, Mr. Sumit Kumar (2012 batch IOFS officer) and Mr. Anshul Sirohi’s (also 2012 batch IOFS) deputation tenure to Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), were each extended by a period of one year, respectively. IOFS is the abbreviation for Indian Ordinance Factories Services.
The request for their tenure extension was made by the Department of Defence Production to the Appointments Committee. Officer Kumar is serving as Secretary to MCD Commissioner Ashwani Kumar, and Officer Sirohi is serving as Deputy Commissioner of the Shahdara South Zone.
