IPS officer Abhinav Kumar has been appointed as the Additional Principal Secretary to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The 1996 batch officer has served on various capacity including IG, Garhwal and president of IPS Association (Uttarakhand).
Let it be noted that this is the first time when any one is appointed as additional Principal Secretary to CM. 1988 batch officer Sukhbir Singh Sindhu has been appointed as the Chief Secretary.
