The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has ordered the immediate transfer of IPS officers Divya D and Raghav S, both from the 2018 batch of the AGMUT cadre, from Jammu and Kashmir to Puducherry.
According to an official order issued by the Government of India, the two officers—currently posted in Jammu and Kashmir—have been shifted to Puducherry until further orders.
Relieving Orders Issued
The transfer has been approved by the competent authority and communicated through the office of the Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir. The order directs that both officers be relieved from their present assignments to enable them to assume charge at their new postings in Puducherry.
Divya D and Raghav S belong to the 2018 batch of the Indian Police Service and are part of the AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh–Goa–Mizoram–Union Territories) cadre, which allows postings across multiple Union Territories and northeastern states.
ACC Clears Extension for IAS Officer Akshay Labroo
In a related development, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the Department of Personnel and Training’s (DoPT) proposal to extend the inter-cadre deputation tenure of IAS officer Akshay Labroo.
Labroo, a 2018-batch IAS officer of the Tripura cadre, is currently on deputation to the AGMUT cadre in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
The ACC has granted a one-year extension beyond February 17, 2026, in relaxation of existing deputation norms, allowing Akshay Labroo to continue serving in Jammu and Kashmir under the AGMUT cadre.
