Retired IPS officer and former Odisha DGP Mr. Prakash Mishra (1977-batch) has been appointed as an advisor to Chief Minister Mr. Mohan Charan Majhi. The notification, issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department of the Odisha Government, accords Mr. Mishra the rank of Cabinet Minister.
Mr. Mishra served as the state’s Director General of Police (DGP) from 2012 to 2014 and brings with him extensive experience in law enforcement and governance.
