In a recent bureaucratic reshuffle, Mr. N Sridhar Rao (1994-batch Sikkim cadre IPS officer) has been appointed as the Director of Sikkim Vigilance Police. Prior to this, he was serving as Special Director General of Police (SDGP) – Planning and Modernisation, with additional responsibilities including SDGP – Coordination, OSD – Tourism and Civil Aviation Department, and in charge of the 1st IRBn, New Delhi. Following his new posting, he will relinquish these additional charges.
Additionally, Mr. Bharat Bhandari, who was serving as Joint Commissioner in the Directorate of Coordination under the Home Department, Sikkim, has been transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner in the Excise Department, Pakyong, Sikkim.
