The deputation tenure of 2000 batch Odisha cadre IPS officer Prateek Mohanty as IG of CISF was extended. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on 12.04.2023, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Mohanty from 07.08.2023 to 02.03.2024
