Mr. Himanshu Gupta, a 2010-batch Uttar Pradesh cadre IPS officer, has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) for a tenure of five years.
According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on March 3, 2025, the competent authority has approved his appointment for a period of five years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
