New Delhi: The Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has appointed Mr. Navin Kumar Parsuramka as the Part‑time Government Director on the Board of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC), replacing Mr. Manoj Kumar Gangeya, with immediate effect.
The appointment was formalised through Ministry of Railways Order No. 2022/PL/57/10 dated 25 February 2026. Mr. Parsuramka will serve in this key role for the duration of his tenure as Principal Executive Director (Coaching), Railway Board, or until further orders.
Strategic Appointment to Strengthen Board Expertise
Mr. Parsuramka brings decades of experience in railway operations and coaching services to the IRCTC Board. His appointment aims to integrate deeper strategic insights from the Railway Board into IRCTC’s governance and decision‑making frameworks.
With his strong background in coaching and operational management, industry experts believe this move will support IRCTC in enhancing service quality and aligning its strategic priorities more closely with the broader objectives of the Indian Railways.
Transition from Mr. Manoj Kumar Gangeya
Mr. Parsuramka succeeds Mr. Manoj Kumar Gangeya, who previously held the position of Part‑time Government Director on the IRCTC Board. Mr. Gangeya’s contributions have been acknowledged as part of the corporation’s ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional governance.

IRCTC has confirmed that all necessary steps will be taken to complete formal appointment procedures in accordance with the Companies Act, 2013 and SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
