New Delhi: The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd (IREDA) has announced the appointment of Shri Amit Goel as a Senior Management Personnel (SMP) and also as a Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of the company. Goel currently serves as General Manager (Finance & Accounts) and heads both the Resources Group (including Asset Liability Management) and the Corporate Strategy Group.
Experienced Finance Leader to Join IREDA’s Executive Ranks
A B. Sc. graduate from Delhi University and an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Shri Amit Goel brings with him more than 23 years of experience in finance and accounts, spanning various strategic and operational roles.
His elevation to the top management team comes at a time when IREDA is expanding its role in supporting India’s renewable energy growth through innovative financing solutions and robust corporate governance.
Strategic Role in Resources and Corporate Planning
As Head of the Resources Group, Goel oversees critical financial functions including Asset Liability Management (ALM), ensuring optimal utilization of funds. His role in the Corporate Strategy Group positions him at the center of long-term planning and institutional development efforts.
His appointment aligns with IREDA’s objective of strengthening its senior leadership to meet evolving challenges and opportunities in the renewable energy finance sector.
