Mr. Kanse Dhairyashil Vijay, a 2010-batch IRS (Customs & Indirect Text) officer, has been appointed as the Joint Managing Director for Business Development at NAFED under the Department of Agriculture. He will serve on deputation for a period of five years.
NAFED (National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India) is a major cooperative organization established to promote the welfare of farmers by providing a platform for agricultural produce marketing. It works towards enhancing agricultural marketing efficiency, ensuring fair prices for both farmers and consumers, and supporting the agricultural sector’s growth.
