New Delhi: Mrithinjai Srikanthan, an officer of the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) from the 2013 batch, has been selected for the prestigious role of Deputy Secretary in the Department of Expenditure under the Ministry of Finance.
According to an official order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Srikanthan’s appointment will be made under the Central Staffing Scheme for a term of four years, starting from the date he assumes charge of the position or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Srikanthan’s selection follows a recommendation from the Department of Revenue for Central Deputation, recognizing his expertise and capabilities in managing complex financial matters.
The official notification also directs that Srikanthan be relieved of his current duties immediately, allowing him to transition smoothly into his new role within the Ministry of Finance.
