Anshoo Pandey, an officer from the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) 2006 batch, has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of Mines.
The central government approved his appointment for a term of five years, or until further orders, according to an official announcement made by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
Mr Pandey’s selection follows a recommendation for central deputation by the Ministry of Railways. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing various administrative functions and policies related to the mining sector.
