Janata Darshana: CM Yogi Adityanath Orders Strict Action Against Fraudulent Overseas Job Agents in Gorakhpur

During Janata Darshan, CM directs police to reimburse victims, address public grievances promptly, and take strict action on land grabbing and medical aid issues

Gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed police authorities to take stringent action against agents involved in cheating people under the pretext of sending them abroad. He emphasized that victims must be fully reimbursed, and fake agents should be identified and faced with strict legal action.

CM Holds Public Grievance Hearing Amid Severe Cold

Despite freezing temperatures on Saturday morning, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath personally interacted with citizens during a Janata Darshan program held at the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan auditorium near Gorakhnath Temple. Around 250 people shared their problems directly with the CM, who assured them that every issue would be addressed promptly and no one should worry about their grievances.

Immediate Action Against Overseas Job Fraud

During the public meeting, a woman informed the CM that a family member had been defrauded by an agent promising overseas employment. On hearing this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath instructed the police officials present to take immediate action against the agent and ensure the victim’s money was returned. He also cautioned citizens against falling prey to fraudulent agents, warning that illegal attempts to go abroad could even lead to imprisonment.

Strict Orders on Police Accountability

The CM also addressed complaints related to police services, directing officers to ensure timely assistance to victims without any delay or negligence. He made it clear that officials found negligent in resolving public grievances would face strict disciplinary action.

Action on Land Grabbing Complaints

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath instructed administration and police officials to handle public complaints in a timely, impartial, and efficient manner. He specifically directed strict legal action against cases of illegal land grabbing in accordance with the law.

Financial Assistance for Medical Treatment

During the Janata Darshan, several people approached the CM seeking financial help for medical treatment. Yogi Adityanath directed officials to expedite hospital estimate processes and assured that sufficient assistance would be provided from the Chief Minister’s discretionary fund to those in need.

Encouragement and Care for Children

The Chief Minister also interacted with children who accompanied their parents, showing affection and motivating them to attend school regularly. He encouraged their education and distributed chocolates to uplift their spirits.
