In a major administrative reshuffle, the Jharkhand government has shifted 13 IAS officers across the state. According to the recent order, district collectors of Dumka, Jamshedpur, Giridih and Koderma have been changed.
IAS officer Vijaya Jadhav, who was serving as the DC of East Singhbhum (Jamshedpur), has been removed from the position and not yet been assigned a new posting. Replacing her, Manjunath Bhajantri has been appointed as the new DC of Jamshedpur. He was serving as the DC of Deoghar. Now, IAS officer Vishal Sagar will take charge as DC, Deoghar.
In another major change, Ravi Shankar Shukla, who had previously held the post of DC, Jamshedpur and DC, Dumka, has now been appointed as the DC of Seraikela-Kharsawan.
Former DC, Palamu, Mr. A Dodde, has been designated as the new DC of Dumka and Shashibhushan Mehra, who was serving as DDC of Giridih, has been appointed as the DC of Jamtara. Mrityunjay Kumar Barnwal has been posted as DC of Pakur. He was serving as the Registrar of Cooperation Committees.
IAS power couple Lokesh Mishra and Megha Bhardawaj has also been assigned with new posts. Ms. Bhardawaj has been appointed as Koderma DM while Mr. Mishra will take charge as DM, Khunti.
IAS officers Shashi Ranjan and Varun Ranjan have been made the new DCs of Palamu and Dhanbad respectively. Ajay Kumar Singh will be the new DC of Simdega. He was serving as Regional Director, Jharkhand Industrial Area Development Authority.
IAS officers Karan Satyarthi has been posted as DC, Gumla and Chandan Kumar has been appointed as DC, Ramgadh.
