The Jharkhand CSR Conclave 2025 is scheduled to be held on August 22 and 23 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Ranchi, bringing together leading voices from corporate, government, NGO, and academic sectors to explore the role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in fostering sustainable and inclusive development across the state.
Theme: CSR Toward Sustainable Growth
Themed “CSR toward Sustainable Growth: Connecting Impact and Innovation,” the conclave aims to align CSR efforts with the broader goals of economic development, environmental sustainability, and social equity. The event will serve as a key platform for strategic dialogue, knowledge exchange, and the showcasing of transformative CSR initiatives from across sectors.
Organisers noted that the conclave will focus on how CSR can address systemic developmental challenges in Jharkhand, particularly by integrating corporate engagement with grassroots realities and local innovation. Special attention will also be given to Jharkhand’s tribal communities, cultural heritage, and natural resource base, which form the core of the state’s identity and development narrative.
Diverse Participation Across Sectors
The two-day event will feature a series of keynote addresses, panel discussions, workshops, and exhibitions covering critical topics such as:
- Climate action and environmental sustainability
- Healthcare access and nutrition
- Quality education and digital inclusion
- Women’s empowerment and gender equity
- Ethical and responsible business practices
Participants will include Section 8 companies, CSR foundations, charitable trusts, universities, NGOs, policymakers, and major public and private sector enterprises. Official sponsors include ONGC, Coal India, NTPC, and SAIL, underlining strong institutional backing for the conclave.
Grounded in Jharkhand’s Unique Context
With Jharkhand’s rich natural resources and simultaneously significant socio-economic challenges, the conclave aims to generate actionable insights into region-specific CSR models that are both innovative and impact-driven. The event will showcase successful grassroots case studies from within the state, exploring how collaborative partnerships can scale development efforts and improve long-term outcomes.
Positioning Jharkhand as a Model for Impactful CSR
Organisers emphasised that the conclave’s broader vision is to position Jharkhand as a national model for CSR interventions that are contextual, inclusive, and rooted in the realities of its people and environment. By fostering dialogue between industries and community-based organisations, the conclave hopes to catalyse a shift toward socially responsive development models, driving inclusive growth and sustainable transformation in the region.
