Ranchi: The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has released the final result of the JPSC Civil Services Examination 2023, bringing an end to a much-awaited recruitment cycle that saw over 7,000 candidates compete for 342 coveted government posts.

The final list of selected candidates is now available on the official website: www.jpsc.gov.in.

342 Candidates Declared Successful

The JPSC has declared 342 candidates successful, exactly matching the number of advertised vacancies. The recruitment was held for key administrative posts, including Deputy Collector, DSP, State Tax Officer, and others. The result has been prepared based on the combined performance in the Mains Examination and Interview stages.

July 25, 2025 – Final results published

Candidates were also provided seven years of age relaxation, expanding eligibility for many aspirants.

Controversy and Candidate Protests

The JPSC Civil Services 2023 exam faced criticism over delays, evaluation transparency, and the answer key process. Candidates staged multiple protests across Ranchi and other districts, demanding timely results and clarity in the selection process.
