The Central Government has ordered the premature repatriation of Mr. KG Jagadeesha (IAS), currently serving as Secretary, Coffee Board, Bengaluru, to his parent Karnataka cadre with immediate effect.
A 2005-batch Karnataka cadre IAS officer, Mr. Jagadeesha’s central deputation has been cut short before completion of his regular tenure. The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued the repatriation order following approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
The move comes as part of routine bureaucratic reshuffles, though no specific reason has been cited for the premature repatriation. Mr. Jagadeesha is expected to assume new responsibilities under the Karnataka state administration shortly.
