The Kerala government has announced a series of administrative transfers involving several IAS officers. Ms. V Vigneshwari, currently serving as the District Collector of Kottayam, has been transferred to Idukki as the new District Collector. Mr. Geromic George, the present District Collector of Thiruvananthapuram, will take over as the Director of the Backward Class Development Corporation. Additionally, Ms. Anu Kumari, who is currently the Director of the Kerala State IT Mission, has been appointed as the District Collector of Thiruvananthapuram. In her new role, she will also chair the monitoring committee for resolving rehabilitation issues related to the Vizhinjam port project.
Further changes include Mr. John V Samuel, the current Director of the Backward Class Development Corporation, being transferred to Kottayam as the District Collector. Mr. Sriram Venkitaraman, the CMD of Supplyco, has been appointed as the Joint Secretary and Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Finance (Resources) Department. Ms. Sheeba George, the outgoing District Collector of Idukki, will now serve as the Additional Secretary in the Revenue Department, with full additional charges as Commissioner of Housing and Secretary of the Kerala State Housing Board.
