The post of Mr. Sandeep Kumar Singh as Private Secretary to the Union Minister of Culture has been upgraded to the Director level. Mr. Singh is a 2011-batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre.

Additionally, Mr. Avneet Punia, a 2017-batch IAS officer of the West Bengal cadre, has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Chief Secretary and Under Secretary in the Home and Hill Affairs Department and the Personnel & Administrative Reforms (P&AR) Department in West Bengal.
Meanwhile, Mr. MS Manivannan, a 2005-batch IAS officer, currently serving as Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Assam, Personnel Department, has been assigned the additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department.
