Hyderabad: The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) in Hyderabad witnessed a momentous occasion as the 77th batch of Indian Police Service (IPS) probationers passed out after completing their rigorous training. Her poise and command were on full display as she led Platoon No. 4 during the grand Dikshant Parade, showcasing precision, leadership, and discipline.

- Sword of Honour by the IPS Association for Best Outdoor Probationer
- Director SVP NPA Trophy for Best Lady Probationer in Outdoor Training
- Best Probationer in Drill Medal

Who is Kirti Yadav?
Ms Kirti, a Delhi native, was serving in the Indian Forest Service (IFS) when the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2023 results were announced in 2024. After securing an All India Rank (AIR) of 510 with Chemistry as her optional subject, she opted to leave the IFS and join the Indian Police Service (IPS). She is currently undergoing rigorous training at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA). Kirti has been allotted the AGMUT cadre. Committed to public service, she has expressed a strong focus on women’s safety and empowerment, stating her goal is to improve daily life for women by encouraging more crime reporting and ensuring continued progress in law enforcement. Her journey reflects exceptional grit, determination, and passion.
A Showcase of Discipline, Teamwork, and Excellence
The Dikshant Parade was presided over by Daljit Singh Chaudhary, IPS, Director General of the Border Security Force (BSF), who congratulated the probationers and lauded their commitment to the core values of service, courage, and integrity.

- Ms. Chathriya Kavin DJ, also leading a platoon with distinction

- Anjit A. Nayar received the Director’s Trophy for Best Officer Trainee in Phase-I
- Mr. Sagun Khadka from Nepal was honoured as the Best Foreign Officer Trainee in Phase-I
