New Delhi/Bengaluru: The Ministry of Railways has approved the deputation of Mr. Lakshman Singh (IRSE), currently Chief General Manager (Civil) at Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (BMRCL), as the new Managing Director (MD) of the Rail Infrastructure Development Company (Karnataka) Ltd. – K-RIDE. The appointment is effective November 26, 2025, for a tenure of three years, under the Government of Karnataka.
This strategic move is aimed at bringing strong, technically experienced leadership to K-RIDE, a key joint venture responsible for implementing the Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project (BSRP), which has experienced delays due to the absence of a full-time technical head.
