Bhopal: On the historic occasion of Madhya Pradesh’s 70th Foundation Day, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav unveiled the Developed Madhya Pradesh @2047 Vision Document, a roadmap for building a strong, self-reliant, and prosperous state over the next two decades. The document was released under the “Abhyudaya Madhya Pradesh” campaign during a grand ceremony at Ravindra Bhavan, Bhopal.
Laying the Foundation for a Developed and Self-Reliant Madhya Pradesh
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Developed Madhya Pradesh @2047 Vision Document embodies the collective aspirations of the people and aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a Developed India by 2047.
“Developed with the cooperation of every citizen, this document lays the foundation for building a new Madhya Pradesh,” said Dr. Yadav.
The Chief Minister noted that the past two years have laid a strong foundation for industrial growth, employment generation, and infrastructure expansion. “The coming years will establish Madhya Pradesh as a leading industrial hub of India,” he added.

Ujjain Airport Development and Other Key Infrastructure Projects
During the event, the Ujjain Airport development contract was formally signed in the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu.
This will be the fourth airport developed in the state within two years, following Rewa, Satna, and Datia.
The new airport will boost pilgrim tourism and regional connectivity. Contracts were also handed over for:
- Rewa–New Delhi flight (Alliance Airlines)
- Rewa–Indore flight (IndiGo)
PM Shri air tourism helicopter service across three sectors
e-Governance Push: Launch of MP e-Seva and Invest MP 3.0 Portals
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav launched the ‘MP e-Seva’ portal, designed to make 500 government services available online under a single digital platform. The Invest MP 3.0 portal was also launched to streamline industrial and investment facilitation digitally.
He also unveiled the ‘Wash on Wheels’ mobile app, which integrates technology into sanitation services, and emphasized that the remaining 1,750 departmental services will soon be made available online.
“The MP e-Seva portal will bring the entire government to one screen,” Dr. Yadav said.

Two Lakh Government Jobs in the Next Three Years
Highlighting employment generation as a key focus, Dr. Yadav announced that the state government aims to create two lakh government jobs over the next three years.
He informed that ₹30 lakh crore worth of investment proposals were received during the Year of Investment and Employment (2025), with approvals for ₹8.44 lakh crore, expected to create 6 lakh jobs.
He also pointed out that 60,000 government positions have already been filled and cited upcoming projects like the Rail Coach Factory in Raisen district as major employment drivers.
Agriculture, Industry, and Environmental Initiatives
Dr. Yadav reiterated that agriculture remains the backbone of the state’s economy. The River Linking Project, solar irrigation pumps, and technology-driven farming are key elements in boosting farmers’ incomes.
The Chief Minister also announced the development of Omkareshwar Sanctuary, aimed at promoting eco-tourism and biodiversity conservation.
Wildlife-focused tourism activities are being expanded with two tiger reserves and a leopard sanctuary established last year.

National Leaders Laud MP’s Vision
Union Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu praised CM Yadav as “a symbol of public service”, noting that Madhya Pradesh is emerging as a model state in innovation and development.
“The vision document reflects the progress from Om to AI — symbolizing both cultural strength and technological advancement,” he said.
NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Dr. Suman K. Beri lauded Madhya Pradesh’s participatory approach in drafting the Vision Document and called for greater women’s participation in employment and entrepreneurship.
Three Pillars of Development: Happiness, Prosperity, and Good Culture
Chief Secretary Anurag Jain presented the Vision Document, noting that it was prepared with inputs from all districts and panchayats, with guidance from NITI Aayog.
He said the roadmap is built on three key pillars: happiness, prosperity, and good culture.
He further announced plans to develop three AI cities, boost the Make in Madhya Pradesh initiative, and digitally connect 97% of farmers — making MP the top-performing state in farmer registration.

A Vision for 2047: People’s Participation as the Core
Concluding the ceremony, Dr. Yadav emphasized that public participation will be the cornerstone of the state’s journey toward 2047.
“Through their hard work and dedication, the people of Madhya Pradesh will open new doors of prosperity and success,” he said.
