Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Government, through the General Administration Department (GAD), has issued a fresh round of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer transfers and postings. The move includes new appointments, reassignment of duties, and withdrawal of additional charges from certain officers.
In total, five IAS officers have been assigned new responsibilities, while three officers who previously held additional charges have been relieved of those duties. Some officials have also been entrusted with dual or additional roles.

Key Appointments and Role Changes
Manish Singh, a senior IAS officer awaiting posting, has been appointed Principal Secretary, Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment Department. He has also been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Sports and Youth Welfare Department.
G.V. Rashmi, another officer awaiting posting, has been named Secretary, Women and Child Development Department.
Anurag Saxena, currently serving as Managing Director, MP Seed and Farm Development Corporation, and Deputy Secretary, Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Department (additional charge), has now been posted as Additional Managing Director, MP State Agricultural Marketing Board, Bhopal.
Abhilash Mishra, earlier serving as Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Indore, has been transferred and appointed Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ujjain.
Mrs. Archana Solanki, who was Chief General Manager (Administration), MP Rural Road Development Authority, has been posted as Deputy Secretary (Personnel), General Administration Department.

Administrative Realignment Underway
With these changes, the state government appears to be streamlining administrative functions by reducing overlapping responsibilities and assigning clear leadership roles in key departments, including technical education, agriculture, urban governance, and child welfare.
The General Administration Department also confirmed that officers who were temporarily holding additional charge of departments now reassigned have been relieved accordingly, ensuring a more dedicated administrative focus.
