In a powerful address at MAGIC Startup Manthan 2025, P. Anbalagan (IAS), Principal Secretary, Department of Industries, Government of Maharashtra, unveiled the vision and impact of MAITRI 2.0 — the upgraded Maharashtra Industry, Trade & Investment Facilitation platform. The platform is designed to streamline investor support, regulatory clearances, and ease of doing business across the state.
P. Anbalagan, a senior IAS officer known for his administrative acumen and policy leadership, emphasized how MAITRI 2.0 would serve as a one-stop digital window for industries, startups, and investors to access timely permissions, approvals, and handholding from various state departments. “The aim is to eliminate bottlenecks and bring seamless integration between stakeholders, accelerating Maharashtra’s journey as an industry-first destination,” he noted.
The session also featured inputs from representatives of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC), AURIC, and other senior officials from the State Industries Department. Together, they explored collaborative strategies to enable startup scale-up, infrastructure-led growth, and industrial innovation.
The discussions at MAGIC Startup Manthan 2025 signaled Maharashtra’s commitment to driving business reform, digital transformation, and ecosystem synergies for a future-ready industrial landscape.
