New Delhi: In a notable CSR initiative, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has signed an MoU with Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC) and Safdarjung Hospital to donate seven advanced medical devices. The equipment will benefit patients in the urology and renal department.

Under the agreement, POWERGRID will supply seven state-of-the-art medical instruments to VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital. These devices are expected to enhance diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities in urology and renal care. The move underscores POWERGRID’s focus on meaningful healthcare support through its CSR mandate.

The MoU signing was graced by senior leaders from both organisations. Representing POWERGRID were Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel), and Jasbir Singh, Executive Director (CSR). From VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, Dr. (Prof.) Sandeep Bansal, Director, and Dr. Charu Bamba, MS, along with other senior officials, attended the event. Their presence emphasised the collaboration’s significance in strengthening India’s public healthcare system.
