Lucknow: In a significant administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening law enforcement and ensuring better utilization of officers’ experience, the DGP Headquarters on Friday issued orders transferring 48 UP PPS (Provincial Police Service) officers, including 18 of Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) rank, across various districts and police units in Uttar Pradesh.

Key Highlights of the Transfers

  • Rahul Srivastava, senior PPS officer, has been reinstated as Public Relations Officer (PRO) at the DGP Headquarters, a role in which he had previously earned acclaim for his impactful public communication and strong social media presence.
  • Subodh Kumar Srivastava, earlier with Lucknow Police Commissionerate, has been transferred to the 35th Bahini PAC, Lucknow.
  • Mamta Rani Chaudhary, serving in Varanasi Commissionerate, has been posted to Lucknow Commissionerate, while Manisha Singh from Lucknow Commissionerate moves to Noida Commissionerate.
